Original eBooks in the English language published between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 are eligible. This includes self-published and subsidy published. The exceptions are fan fiction and those originally published on paper. (We do not consider a few copies printed out or xeroxed as print published.)
Books must be a minimum of 40,000 words, except Young Adult books.
No award will be given in any category which has less than six entries.

Books entered into wrong category will be disqualified
and entry fee will NOT be refunded.
1) You may enter only one (1) book per category and no book may be entered in more than one category. (Separate entry form and fee required for each book.)
2) Cover artists may enter up to three (3) book covers. (Separate entry form and fee required for each cover.)
3) Fill out the online entry form completely. Forms with missing or incorrect information are subject to rejection.
4) Make sure the URL for your book and your e-mail address are both correct and that you have designated a category.
5) You may pay the entry fee by PayPal or you may send a personal check or money order to the Contest Coordinator.
6) Send the first three chapters -- OR no more than 12,000 words -- formatted as .RTF [rich text format] ONLY, via e-mail attachment to:

7) DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR COVER WITH YOUR SUBMISSION.
8) If you are entering the Cover Art category, a separate submission form is required for each entry. Image(s) submitted must be .jpg format only and no larger than 350 x 350 pixels.
NOTE: If books or covers are not submitted in the proper format, entry will be eliminated.
9) Entry fees not paid by PayPal should be sent via regular postal service. No UPS. No return reply requested. No certified mail. Must be postmarked prior to April 30, 2009.
10) DO NOT include submission with postal entries. Those must be submitted electronically.
11) The entry fee is $20.00.
12) You must pay a separate entry fee for each book or cover art entered.

If your book is selected as a finalist, the complete book will be requested via e-mail.
